UK: Whistleblower's fury as police will not investigate the child abuse he reported

Glenn Harrison's attempt to help innocent children has not been taken seriously
POLICE Scotland will not investigate a complaint from a child abuse whistleblower whose home was raided by zealous officers because paperwork has been destroyed.

Glenn Harrison was a housemaster at Queen Victoria School in Dunblane when he began to fear that a VIP paedophile ring may be preying on pupils at the prestigious military boarding school.

When he made a report to the old Central Scotland Police in December 1991, officers responded by breaking down the door to his flat and removing his computer files and paperwork.

Mr Harrison and his supporters are now calling for any military or police files on the school to be reviewed as part of the forthcoming Scottish public inquiry into historic child abuse.

The retired teacher - who has lived in the Shetland Isles for almost 25 years - has also made an official complaint to Police Scotland about the way he was dealt with.  (more...)
