Regina teacher accused in student sex case guilty of misconduct

A Regina high school teacher accused of having a sexual encounter with a student has been found guilty of professional misconduct.

Christene Laurans, who has been fired from her job at Balfour Collegiate, will have a hearing next month to determine a penalty.

At that hearing, the Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation could decide to cancel her teaching certificate.  (more...)
