A secret report into historical abuse allegations at the council reveals Mr Forsythe had told colleagues he planned to blow the whistle on a sex gang shortly before his death, it emerged today.
The internal council report - which was not released or handed to police at the time - detailed claims that victims were taken to the basement of the council's housing department building in south London and abused.
It also revealed Mr Forsythe had told colleagues he planned to 'spill the beans' but feared senior figures could 'get to him', Sky News reported today.
Mr Forsythe's daughter, Kiddist Forsythe, who was born after her father's tragic death, said her family are determined to get justice for the former housing boss. (more...)
