Right minded folk in England are praying hard for Scotland’s independence.

The sooner we can get rid of what, even as far back as 1999, a US televangelist Pat Robertson called ‘a dark land’ overrun by homosexuals, the better. If we can lose its contribution of Labour MPs to Westminster, we will never have a Labour government in England again.

At the time, we reckoned Pat must have been confused by the kilts. Now we are ‘equally’ subjected, so we know better. Who cares what it costs to get out? Indeed, it will probably save us a fortune in handouts.

Poor old Pat lost a lucrative telephone banking deal with Bank of Scotland for his honesty – although righteousness prevailed when BoS went bust (sorry, was bought by Lloyds, which immediately went bust as a result, at massive cost to the taxpayer) less than ten years later.

Most of us - even those of us with ancestors hanged by the English for treason - would prefer to chew our arm off rather than stay in bed with this monster. It spawned Tony Blair and Gordon Brown for a start.  (more...)
