Federal investigators say that Mervin Edy Wolf began sexually molesting a young girl who lived with his relatives in California in September 2007. They say he gradually escalated the intensity of their encounters and filmed them, making trips to California up to three times a year.
The Denver Post reports the minor was seven-years-old when the abuse began, and nine when Wolf began producing child porn.
In January 2013, she contacted Wolf to say she thought she was pregnant. “Wolf told the minor child he would pay for an abortion if she was in fact pregnant,” the FBI reported. However, two home pregnancy tests that he mailed her came back negative.
She came forward to authorities because she was afraid Wolf would begin molesting her younger sibling. (more...)
