Kids having parent-sanctioned sex at home--it's the latest trend among hip, enlightened Moms and Dads--not weighed down by the prudery of ages past or the religiofacist demagoguery of Fox News.
In case you missed it, the New York Times, the world's leading authority on good parenting, lately informed us what it means to be "giving respect to teenage relationships," as Amanda Marcotte put it at Salon.com.
In this case, "giving respect" means welcoming young punks to come have sex with your child in her bedroom, while, presumably you stand on the other side of the door beaming with pride over your own progressiveness. Maybe lighting up a cigarette in a euphoria of vicarious afterglow.
Marcotte goes on to inform us that parents on the razor cusp of the cutting edge are now allowing not just sleepovers but--oh yes--teenage cohabitation!
