The Right To Resist Is Non-Negotiable

 

In his latest Rant of the Week, Dimitri Lascaris examines the sordid reality of the 'two-state solution'. While claiming for decades that they support the creation of a Palestinian state, Western governments have done everything they can to destroy the dream of Palestinian statehood.

Lascaris also takes aim at a recent international conference that was held ostensibly for the purpose of reviving the comatose peace process. He argues that the declaration issued by Western states at the conclusion of that conference (the so-called "New York Declaration") is wildly inconsistent with public opinion in the occupied Palestinian territories. According to Lascaris, the "New York Declaration" is designed to do nothing more than entrench Israel's control over historic Palestine.
