Mother Agapia Stephanopoulos, an American Orthodox nun who lived in Jerusalem for 10 years and visits the Holy Land every year, spoke to TRT World about the anti-Christian attacks that she frequently witnesses.
This week, Stephanopoulos was in Washington, DC, with nearly 300 Christian leaders urging Congress to block arms transfers to Israel, resume funding for UNRWA, and restore financial support to the hospital network in occupied East Jerusalem.
She says she is outraged by the unconditional support many Christian Evangelicals provide to Israel while Palestinian Christians continue to experience ethnic cleansing.
