If we have to have gay male weddings, can we please not have so many December-May gay male weddings?

My gay conservative ally who shall remain nameless sent me this article with some gloomy commentary:
...

Ruth Bader Ginsburg is officiating at a wedding between a man who's 59 years old and a man who's 32 years old. Perhaps when you are as old as Ginsburg and your eyesight is that bad, you may not notice that one groom is old enough to be the other groom's father. Or perhaps if you are Ruth Bader Ginsburg, you mistakenly think that the 59-year-old is walking the 32-year-old down as the father of the bride, to give away the younger man to another groom on Skype somewhere.

This comes on the heels of the stories about the high-profile marriage between Glenn Greenwald, who is 46, and his hunky Latino plaything, who's 28.

So I guess it's normal, if we give people years of courtship, for 52-year-old men to pick up 25 year old men, or for 36-year-old men to pick up 18-year-old men, and then for their chemistry to ripen into marriage.

Ewwwwwwww!

For those of you who have never been "immersed" in homosexual lifestyles, let me throw out two words that will help you understand all of this: "daddy issues."  (more...)
