October is Islamic Heritage Month in the Toronto District School Board (TDSB). It's also the month of Halloween and for some reason the TDSB is very afraid of Arabic. From calligraphy to lyrics to songs to words, Anti-Palestinian Racism and Islamophobia really reared their heads this month. Why not just call it Islamophobia month? It is much more fitting.
