Canada's most significant support for Israel

 

As Israel ramps up its violence in Lebanon, Gaza, Syria, Yemen and the West Bank, professor Miles Howe joined Talking Foreign Policy to discuss Canada‘s most significant form of support for Israel. Hundreds of registered charities raise over a quarter billion dollars annually in subsidized donations in Israel. Recently the Canada Revenue Agency suspended the ability of the Emunim Fund to provide donors with tax credits in a move directly tied to the recent revocation of the Ne’eman Foundation’s charitable status.
