A former Milton daycare worker previously charged in connection with a child pornography investigation is now facing additional charges, Peel police said Thursday.
The man, who previously worked at the Milton Community Resource Centre, appeared in a Brampton courtroom late last month following his arrest on April 26 on one count of possessing child pornography and one count of accessing child pornography.
His arrest stemmed from a province-wide investigation involving members of the Peel Regional Police Internet Child Exploitation Unit launched earlier in the month.
In a release issued Thursday night, police said that the suspect had been re-arrested for a number of additional offences following further investigation.
The charges include eight counts of sexual assault, eight counts of sexual interference, and eight counts of making child pornography. (more...)
