Frustration is a word that comes to mind, when I think of Teachers’ Unions creating strike action so soon after this past election.
In case anyone has forgotten, they along with other counterpart unions worked very hard to get Ms Wynne and her gang of Liberals elected to a majority government.
So it begs the question, will the teachers and their union ever be satisfied? Will there ever be a government that won’t put them at odds at the negotiating table?
It’s pretty clear that union intervention in an election can heavily influence the outcome – so what will Ms Wynne do? She does sort of “owe” them for making her way to the Premier’s throne. (more...)
