Sun: Ben Levin pleads guilty to child-porn offences

TORONTO - Former Ontario deputy education minister Benjamin Levin pleaded guilty to three of seven child porn-related offences in a Finch Ave. court Tuesday afternoon - including counselling an adult to sexually assault a child.

The former tenured U of T education professor and member of Premier Kathleen Wynne's transition team pleaded guilty to one count of possession of child pornography, one count of making written child pornography and one count of counselling a sexual assault, all laid in July 2013 following a police investigation that spanned New Zealand and Ontario.  (more...)
