If parents want to know whether they will have their concerns addressed when it comes to the new sex education curriculum in Ontario schools, they are likely to find the answer in a document called, Challenging Homophobia and Heterosexism: A K-12 Resource Guide. The Toronto District School Board issued it in 2011. It’s a guide document prepared for teachers. What is alarming is how the writers completely disregard parents.
