Education Minister Liz Sandals announced on Monday that former Toronto mayor Barbara Hall will chair a seven-member panel that will lead public consultations on improving the governance structure at the Toronto District School Board and whether it should be broken up into smaller entities.

Ms. Sandals said in a statement that she is optimistic that the panel will provide advice on changes that need to be made to “help restore public confidence in the board.” (more...)
