Parents will be happy to learn that the Archdiocese of Toronto's Cardinal Thomas Collins made a public statement yesterday saying that Catholic schools will not implement any new teachings that aren't consistent the Catholic faith. The media statement was made in response to the release of the government's new sex education curriculum for Ontario schools. Catholics have the constitutional right to do so. On Monday, February 23, 2015, the Ontario government released its revised Health & Physical Education curriculum. The Ministry of Education has indicated the curriculum will be implemented in schools across the province this September.
