S2D: Union propaganda in Toronto's high school classrooms

The Toronto District School Board's perpetually expanding gender-based violence prevention (GBVP) office has apparently expanded its scope and is now pushing union propaganda.  A pamphlet rack at the entrance of the GBVP office contains a brochure from Sid Ryan's Ontario Federation of Labour, which encourages high school students to invite union representatives into the classroom to disseminate union propaganda.

Given that the TDSB's own curriculum documents about "class bias" are quite sympathetic to Communism, I wouldn't be surprised if lots of radical left-wing union reps are being invited into Toronto's public high schools to talk about why unions are needed to combat the supposed evils of capitalism.  (The TDSB's own curriculum guide on "class bias" also recommends that teachers invite union / socialist activists, such as those from CUPE, the OFL, and OCAP into the classroom).  (more...)
