In a series of about a dozen essays, Kay touches on freedom of speech in universities, anti-male bias in our culture, the family court’s war on dads, abortion and several gems in cultural critique. Through it all Kay proves her commitment to following evidence over ideology.
Take for example her essay “Feminism’s impact on society”, where she responds to the many absurd and impossible statistics often thrown out to justify a biased view of gender equality. As an example, she breaks the silence on critiquing “Breaking the silence,” a program for Ontario schools aimed at teaching information – and sometimes misinformation – on violence against women.
