Why Are so Many Women Raping Boys?

Women Need To Be Educated About Sexual Consent, Right Now They Aren’t

“43% of high school boys and young college men reported they had an unwanted sexual experience and of those, 95% said a female acquaintance was the aggressor.”

Nearly Half of Young Men Say They’ve Had Unwanted Sex. New study says it’s possible for women to rape men: 18% of surveyed guys say women used physical force to make them have sex against their will

Ex-Army chief quizzed over 'child sex ring'

Former chief of the defence staff Lord Bramall
was questioned yesterday by police
investigating claims of an Establishment sex ring
One of Britain's most senior former soldiers was questioned yesterday by police investigating claims of an Establishment sex ring.

Former chief of the defence staff Lord Bramall, 91, was interviewed under caution but released without charge.

Officers are probing claims that powerful figures were behind the sex abuse and even murder of young boys.

The D-Day veteran attended a police station close to his £900,000 Surrey home at the request of senior Scotland Yard detectives.

He is the first person to be formally questioned as part of Operation Midland.
A witness known as Nick, whom police describe as ‘credible’, claims three victims were murdered.

Most abuse is said to have happened at the Dolphin Square apartment complex in Westminster in the 1970s and 1980s. Officers are examining whether more crimes took place at military bases.

They are working closely with the Royal Military Police in a bid to locate records of who visited the secure locations and when.

Lord Bramall, who declined to comment last night, has categorically denied any involvement in a VIP child sex ring.

He is being investigated after police were alerted to claims against him in October.
His home near Farnham was searched in March as part of a co-ordinated operation that also targeted properties belonging to former home secretary Lord Brittan, just six weeks after his death.  (more...)

Final submissions made in teacher Erin Osmond’s sexual exploitation case

SASKATOON – She says it was love and her marriage was falling apart.

On Thursday, closing arguments commenced in the Erin Osmond case. The 29-year old former teacher o has been charged with two counts of sexual exploitation after forming a sexual relationship with a 16-year old student.

Now, it’s up to a judge to decide whether Osmond was in a position of power and authority when she engaged in sexual intercourse with the student or not.

During final submissions, court heard that Osmond’s love affair with the student quickly developed over text messages and that she fell in love with him, and he with her.

“It’s a difficult case, it’s a complicated case and every one of these cases is a little bit different so there’s a lot to think about,” said Leslie Sullivan, defence lawyer for Osmond.  (more...)

Gloria Steinem pushes abortion at Wisconsin Catholic college, bishop rebukes college

DE PERE, WI, April 30, 2015 (LifeSiteNews.com) -- Despite pronounced disapproval from the local bishop, a Wisconsin Catholic college hosted a notorious pro-abortion feminist to talk about “social justice,” and it’s not the first time the school has given a platform to speakers who vehemently oppose Church teaching.

St. Norbert College in De Pere presented Gloria Steinem last week, along with another pro-abortion activist, bell hooks, according to a report from Fox 11, as part of a discussion on the history of the women’s movement as it may pertain to domestic violence.

Steinem became the face of the feminist movement beginning in the late 1960’s, and has been an outspoken abortion proponent throughout her career.  (more...)

Ontario Muslims: Say NO to Sex-Ed

The Liberals have devastated communities with their announcement of the new Sex-Ed curriculum by Premier Kathleen Wynne in February. It is the first update to sex-ed courses since 1998 and is scheduled to roll out in publicly-funded schools across Ontario fall 2015. This has caused groups Canada-wide to rally in solidarity for the sake of their children and the protection of their innocence. Daily and weekly there are organized protests held by groups such as Parents Against Ontario Sex Ed-Curriculum in order to show the Liberal government that only parents should be allowed to decide on what is age appropriate content with regards to sex-ed based on their culture, moral, values and religious beliefs.

Protests have been held in every city across Ontario and the Liberal Premiere seems blind to the fact that Parents in Ontario do not agree with her new curriculum and are adamant that the curriculum will corrupt the minds of their children. Protests in Queens Park, Kingston, Windsor, London, Sudbury and Mississauga have seen hundreds and thousands of protestors take to the streets. The most recent protest was in Kingston where parents and families gathered in front of Kingston City Hall.  (more...)

Who says hijabs aren't styleish?

The Short Life of a Thoroughly Post-Modern Canadian Woman

A ‘defender of the weak’, she had a strong, nurturing way about her. She helped others as a social worker and a Wiccan priestess.

Heather Arlene Carr was born on Sept.6, 1974, in Kamloops, B.C. For her mother, Judy, it was a long, difficult birth, one that her father, Jack, a trucker, missed because of work. She was the first of four children and, along with her sisters, Sheri and Stacey, she doted on her younger brother, David. From an early age, Heather had a strong, nurturing way about her. She referred to her siblings as “the kids,” says Judy. “She was my little helper.”

Heather, like her father, was an avid reader. Bursting with imagination, she often read or made up stories for her brother and sisters. Fantasies and ghost stories were favourite subjects. In 1982, the Carrs moved to Tumbler Ridge, B.C., where Jack got work at a grocery store. Heather was a pudgy girl, with coke-bottle glasses, and different. Though fearless, she was still sometimes picked on. She buried her pain, says her mom, but she always noticed it in others: “She was a defender of the weak her whole life,” says Judy. She brought home anybody who was having a problem. Their house, says sister Sheri, was a revolving door “of the wounded and hurt.”  (more...)

Parents have the power to change the sex "education" curriculum

Parent leaders talking to the media after a meeting with Premier Wynne
There have been parental protests all across the province in reaction the controversial sex "education" curriculum that the Wynne's Liberal government plans to implement for the school year 2015-16. Some of the locations have been Burlington, Peel, Windsor, Ottawa, Timmins, Mississauga, Scarborough and Queen's Park. However, the premier so far has refused to listen to calls to change the curriculum contents or scrapping the explicit sex topics included in the Health and Physical Education document.

As we approach Education Week in Ontario that runs from May 4 - 8, many parents are calling for a province wide protest in response to the issue. Omar Kasmieh of Parents and Student on Strike is urging parents to keep their children at home next week. He wants the government to seriously address parental concerns about the new sex curriculum. He says, “We want the Ministry (of Education) to know that this is not a small issue. This is a major concern. It is really important for the ministry to look at these concerns.” The protest is for both public and separate schools because the curriculum is anti-Christian, contradicts cultural values and beliefs and violates parental rights. It's a government attack on children's innocence.  (more...)

Education Trends in Ontario: When will they ever learn?

We have realized the mistakes we made in the past with the residential schools for the native community. The brutality of taking children away from their parents with even the best of intentions turned out to be a disaster for both the children and their families. Add to that the abusive way some of the children were treated, and the effect was devastating.

If we compare the residential schools with current publicly-funded Ontario schools, we see striking similarities - the only major difference being that the children in our schools still get to go home in the evening.

We bus children out of their community and take them further away from their families and any parental influence. The province makes the educational decisions, cutting out the parents and making their wishes largely irrelevant. And in the same way that child molesters were attracted to the residential schools, pedophiles are now being attracted to Ontario public schools. One of them even served as deputy minister of education and served on the premier's transition team.

I wonder how long it will be before we have problems like those in the residential school system - in Ontario and indeed throughout the western world.

Savile abused girl pupils - police

What's with narcissistic women and nonces? Kathleen?
Surrey Police has concluded its investigations into Savile's activities who was given "unrestricted and largely unsupervised" access to Duncroft School in Staines-Upon-Thames, Surrey, which he visited at least 16 times between 1974 and 1979 and stayed overnight on at least two occasions.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) announced in December last year that no charges would be made against former staff members following the police investigation to find if anyone was complicit in the abuse.

Surrey Police launched Operation Outreach after receiving reports of sexual abuse committed by Savile at Duncroft following the ITV Exposure programme.

The aim of the probe was to determine the extent of his activities and to see if he was aided by anyone at the school.

The report says Savile first visited Duncroft on January 21 1974, and stopped when it temporarily closed in 1979, during which time he visited at least 16 times, although evidence from victims and witnesses suggest he attended more frequently.  (more...)

Ontario parents plan to pull kids out of school next week to protest Wynne’s sex ed

Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne with Education Minister Liz Sandals
TORONTO, April 29, 2015 (LifeSiteNews.com) — A student strike called by parents alarmed by the new sex ed curriculum is going ahead for May 4-11 despite an attempt to mollify critics by Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne.

Wynne met today with the leaders of several ad hoc opposition groups critical of Wynne’s new sex education curriculum, which normalizes homosexuality, transgenderism, and pre-marital sexuality, but refused to budge on their call for a serious consultation with parents.

“I feel at this point we’re not driving the strike,” one organizer, Omar Kasmieh, told LifeSiteNews. “ A lot of parents are upset. I don’t think anyone can change their minds.” The curriculum, said Kaslieh, is in conflict with “their religious beliefs, their cultural and family values.”  (more...)

Kathleen Wynne is ‘absolutely rigid’ on imposing sex-ed, parents say after meeting

Gwen Landolt answers media questions following April 29 meeting with
Liberal Premier Kathleen Wynne, as Jotvinder Sodhi, Lorraine La Vigne
and Maggie Amin look on.
TORONTO, April 29, 2015 (LifeSiteNews.com) -- Kathleen Wynne is refusing to budge on her plan to implement a controversial sex-education in Ontario’s publicly funded schools this fall, say a group of parents who asked the Liberal premier Wednesday to withdraw the curriculum in a private meeting.

Gwen Landolt, one of the six-member delegation who met with Wynne April 29, said after the closed-door meeting that the premier was “implacable…absolutely rigid” and a “wrecking ball” determined to “impose her will” on the parents of Ontario.

But the parents are not backing down either.

Speaking at an informal press conference outside Queen’s Park, the six vowed Ontario parents will keep fighting an odious curriculum they say will incalculably harm their children by exposing them to explicit sexual information far too early.  (more...)

Pro-gay advocate to speak at Catholic Women’s League conference Thursday

TORONTO, April 29, 2015 (LifeSiteNews.com) -- The Catholic Women’s League in Toronto will feature a keynote address at its convention Thursday by a Catholic teacher who made waves last week after LifeSiteNews published video of him telling a gay activist conference how he convinced his Catholic school board to embrace a homosexual agenda.

Michael Way Skinner, who will speak alongside his wife Christine, serves as religious education, family life, and equity coordinator for the York Catholic District School Board.

Skinner’s sympathies, which won him kudos last year from homosexual activist group Harmony Movement for “exemplary achievements in promoting diversity in their school/board and community,” were confirmed in a LifeSiteNews exclusive by Pete Baklinski, who recorded Skinner’s presentation at an April 10 conference sponsored by gay activist organization the Canadian Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity.

Skinner described how he used Church documents to put a “positive” portrayal on homosexuality from a Catholic perspective, allowing, he said, for a “mucher richer dialogue.” His process involved pulling out quotes selectively, often creating an interpretation that contradicts the message of the broader passage.  (more...)

Goddard Inquiry into historic child sex abuse in England will now look at claims against Labour peer Lord Janner

New Zealand judge Lowell Goddard said because of
the 'depth of public concern' surrounding Lord
Janner's alleged abuse she could call him and his
alleged victims
Lord Janner's alleged sex attacks on children and the CPS' decision not to prosecute him will be investigated as part of the Government's inquiry into historic child abuse, it was revealed today.

Judge Lowell Goddard said because of the 'depth of public concern' surrounding the case she will also probe whether the Labour peer avoided trial thanks to an establishment cover-up.

As part of her 'exhaustive and critical' inquiry into his alleged abuse, Justice Goddard will call his accusers and has not ruled out calling the peer himself, despite his dementia.

Her announcement piles more pressure on Alison Saunders, the Director of Public Prosecutions, who decided he is too ill to be put on trial for 22 child sex offences because he has dementia.  (more...)

Raising Snowflakes: Rise of the Parental State

It is hard for adults to look at kids today and not find them wanting when it comes to self-sufficiency and independence.

Those “I used to walk 10 miles to school in the snow when I was your age” remarks get mocked for their tendency toward exaggeration. Surely even the longest and most difficult routes couldn’t have been uphill in both directions. Yet the adults still have a point: Whether helicopter parents or a loss of a sense of community is to blame, kids today really don’t get much of a chance to steer their own ships.

They are walked or driven to and from school by parents or nannies, and they ride their bikes in circles around concrete recreation areas, while a caregiver looks on from a nearby bench. Kids today do not do things like cross busy streets by themselves, or go out to play alone with their siblings at a park.  (more...)

The danger parents may have overlooked in Ontario's sex "education" curriculum

Wynne-doctrination in action
Ontario's 2015 Health and Physical Education document that contains the controversial topics about sex "education" has something else that parents probably have paid little attention to and poses great potential danger to students. We know that children are be taught explicitly the language of body parts, the six gender theory, numerous sexual orientations, homosexuality, romantic dating, masturbation, gay/straight alliances/groups, anal and vaginal intercourse and oral sex. Students will also be introduced to the idea of consent when it comes to sexual activity and making a personal plan. They are even told to carry a condom in case there's a chance "they will be having sex sometime soon." And if all this were not enough for parents to worry about, they should pay great attention to what in the curriculum document is found under the heading of "Community Partners."

Let me explain. The course document has a section called, "Roles and Responsibilities in Health and Physical Education." Here's who is involved: Parents, Students, Teachers, Principals and Community Partners. Now the inclusion of "Community Partners" when one first reads the document may not ring an alarm bell, but it should loudly do so. Parents often don't know or won't be informed as to whom is considered a community partner, a mentor and what teachers will specifically be teaching.  (more...)

A Message from Bethlehem: Lord Acton Tends to Corrupt

Lord Acton (1834-1902) was a nineteenth English historian, a Liberal Catholic who intensely disliked the counterrevolutionary direction down which the Church was headed under the leadership of Blessed Pius IX. He is a hero to many modern men and women who share his Enlightenment outlook on society, politics, and especially the meaning of freedom. These include the directors of a powerful and well-heeled American think tank, the Acton Institute, which has an enormous influence in Catholic circles around the entire western world.

Acton is most well known through his teaching that power tends to corrupt, and absolute power to corrupt absolutely. This dictum, repeated by constitutionalists and libertarians alike, is supposed to force those of us who justify Church and State use of power to face honestly the unpleasant truth about ourselves: that we are on the low road to becoming despicable tyrants or friends of tyranny. But it seems to me that a solid Catholic analysis of the Power Dictum leads to a quite different conclusion: that it is actually this teaching of Lord Acton which tends to corrupt, and the absolute dedication to promotion of his beliefs, represented by foundations like the Acton Institute, which corrupts absolutely. For the Actonian PD, in practice, reflects a Gnostic and Manichean vision totally incompatible with the one taught by the holy babe born in Bethlehem.  (more...)

Greville Janner's alleged victims call for review of 'no charge' ruling

Alleged victims have called for a review of the decision to not charge Lord Janner
Lawyers acting for a number of Lord Janner's alleged victims have formally requested a review of the decision not to prosecute the 86-year-old over child abuse claims.

Law firm Slater and Gordon wrote to the Director of Public Prosecutions Alison Saunders yesterday to call on her to review her decision to not charge the peer with alleged offences because of she believes he is too ill to stand trial.

The law firm is representing "several" people who say Lord Janner sexually abused them in the 1970s and 1980s.

Earlier this month, Ms Saunders, announced Lord Janner was too ill with dementia to stand trial.  (more...)

Michael Mansfield QC Launches Judicial Review Of CSA Inquiry

The Chambers of Michael Mansfield QC supports the Survivors’ two grounds of judicial review. Firstly, that the Survivors of Sexual Abuse are excluded from membership of the Inquiry panel because of a claim that they will lack the necessary objectivity. It should be noted that this bar to membership of the panel in fact only targets Survivors who have disclosed their abuse; this of course serves only to punish and stigmatise Survivors.

Secondly, that the Victims and Survivors Consultative Panel (VSCP) involvement is so limited as to be meaningless. The VSCP was said to have been created to allow Survivors to participate at the centre of this Inquiry. Instead the VSCP will meet with the Inquiry team on two days per month and not have access to the Inquiry papers. Each of these decisions sidelines the participation of the Survivors. As Michael Mansfield QC has said:

” The process has been marred by a Government which has tried relentlessly to manipulate the appointments, remit and terms and conditions of any Inquiry. The only way forward is to ensure a collective approach by survivors standing firm and together on clear objectives.”  (more...)

Wynne 'heard the calls' about sex-ed messaging from Peel school board chair

Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne and Education Minister Liz Sandals have talked a lot about the updated sexual education curriculum, but the premier says the government has also provided many materials to ensure the public can read about those changes for themselves.

"I have spoken to dozens of media outlets, the minister has spoken to dozens of media outlets," Wynne said Tuesday, when asked by a reporter whether the government had done enough to disseminate information about the curriculum changes.

"There is information that has been distributed around the province and is available online. It's available to all of the school trustees and parents in the province [and] clarifies the myths and the realities in the health and physical education document."

The question came to the premier after the chair of the Peel District School Board suggested the province needed to do more to combat misinformation about the new curriculum.

Wynne said she had "heard the calls" of the school board chair regarding the curriculum.  (more...)

Ontario Premier Wynne may have a starring role in federal election

Miriam Ali operates a daycare centre in Mississauga that caters to the children of new Canadians from Asia, Africa and the Caribbean. The parents of these children are angry about Ontario’s new sexual education curriculum, and they hold Justin Trudeau partly to blame.

This makes no sense. But it is all part of the Battle for Ontario in the next federal election, in which Premier Kathleen Wynne will be a key combatant, whether she wants to be or not.

A suburban city of 703,000 that spreads west of Toronto, Mississauga has a population that is 53 per cent foreign born. Its six swing federal ridings usually reflect, and help determine, the outcome of elections. So if voters in Mississauga are upset with Mr. Trudeau over an issue, even one outside federal jurisdiction, this matters.

The new sex-ed curriculum put forward by the provincial government “corrupts the morals of our children,” Ms. Ali said in an interview. “Our parents are very concerned about this. Sexual education should be taught by parents.”  (more...)

Home Office chiefs ignored FOURTH warning on Janner

The Home Office was warned that Lord Janner was abusing young boys two decades ago but did nothing about it.

An MP passed a dossier of information to the department in the hope it would kick-start a fresh police investigation.

But instead the paperwork was shelved by officials until it was discovered in 2013 and belatedly passed to Leicestershire Police.

The revelation will heighten fears that the peer, now 86, was the beneficiary of an Establishment cover-up.

The missed opportunity to bring him to justice echoes the case of the late paedophile Liberal MP Cyril Smith who continued in public life despite repeated warnings of his crimes.

It heaps pressure on the Home Office to reveal exactly who knew what and when about the disturbing allegations against Janner. Last night Labour’s Simon Danczuk – who outed Smith as a predatory child abuser – called on the department to ‘come clean’.  (more...)

Voris: Knights Turn into Wimps

The Indiana State Council of the Knights of Columbus are refusing to defend Catholic teaching on marriage

INDIANAPOLIS, April 27, 2015 (ChurchMilitant.com)—The Indiana State Council of the Knights of Columbus are refusing to defend Catholic teaching on marriage.

This past weekend, while a reception was being held at Knights of Columbus Hall in Madison, Indiana for a lesbian wedding reception, the state organization was simultaneously gathering in Indianapolis to conduct a vote on how to treat the issue of renting their halls for gay weddings and receptions.

When Church Militant.com broke the news earlier this year about Madison Council #934 renting the hall for a lesbian reception, a firestorm broke out in the Catholic social media world. Thousands of faithful Catholics voiced their opposition, and many called the council headquarters insisting the lesbian reception be cancelled and any deposits returned.  (more...)

The anti-Christ agenda of History Channel and its Ancient Aliens television series is reaching new depths by endorsing freemasonry and crediting our supposed alien creators for enlightening mankind with masonic principles.

Now in the advanced stages of its propaganda campaign against Christ and His Church, Ancient Aliens is moving past its phase of using pseudo-archaeology to show how aliens have always been with us to now fully embracing Satanic black arts, including divination, geomancy, mathemancy, and Jewish magic (kabbalism), which is the foundation of freemasonry. An overwhelming number of episodes revolve around divination and sorcery, where supposed great minds like Albert Einstein, kabbalist Isaac Newton, Leonardo da Vinci, and freemason George Washington are depicted as receiving their wisdom and leadership through an infusion of alien knowledge and guidance.  (more...)

Gender Identity and John Money

Part of the Health and Physical Education for Ontario schools contains the new controversial sex "education" curriculum that is scheduled to be implemented for the school year 2015-16. The curriculum covers a number of radical ideas that parents should be concerned about. One of them is the concept of "gender" and "gender identity." The document claims that there six "genders" and numerous sexual orientations. These terms are defined and presented to students and teachers as something factual and societally agreed upon. This is false and possibly dangerous thinking. But the students, parents and teachers are not being told any of this. After all, it's coming form the government and the local school and so the assumption is that we should be able to trust the source. Children will have no choice in the matter. But this is a mistake. Parents should not be fooled.

How did "gender" come to refer to characteristics of being male and female as mere social constructs? Gender was once just a grammar term referring to nouns that are masculine, feminine and neuter. However, in 1955 John Money the "sexologist" and writer first began to use the term to define human sexuality based on social factors. He wanted to differentiate between the biology of being male or female and "gender" to denote a role that culture assigns through socialization to each person or an individual assumes. Money took the word away from its grammatical meaning. He was interested in moving beyond the chromosomes and biology. His interest centered on human identity including sexuality was based on social influences and feelings. He thought sexual identity could be changed in the first three years of life.  (more...)

The New Homophiles vs. St. Aelred on Spiritual Friendship

“Louie, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.…”

When Humphrey Bogart’s character Rick closes the classic film Casablanca with these memorable words, there is no mistaking what he means. Rick and Louie anticipate a mutually respectful—and beneficial—relationship, arising from their past shared experiences and based upon continuing common interests.

Perhaps that’s enough to make their friendship “beautiful”—but what makes a friendship spiritual?

Rewind the clock back beyond World-War-II Morocco to a twelfth-century Cistercian abbey of Rievaulx in North Yorkshire, England, and you’ll find an answer. Here you’ll encounter the slightly famous St. Aelred, now known to some as the “gay abbot of Rievaulx” and author of a notable work titled Spiritual Friendship.

Wait—“gay abbot of Rievaulx”? Based on what evidence?  (more...)

Homeschooling: The Pro-Family Counterrevolution

A new film production company demonstrates yet another aspect of the massive cultural influence of the homeschool movement. "In a world at war with the family, there is nothing more pro-family than the Catholic homeschool." - Michael J. Matt

To Tutor or Not to Tutor - That is not the question

Yesterday The Globe and Mail ran an article about the growing trend towards outside tutoring. The thrust of the article is that parents are trying to give their kids a leg up by engaging outside tutors, and this is of course the spin that status quo educators are trying to apply to the trend. Because if the reason most parents are engaging outside tutors is that the children are struggling in school, then - gasp - that would mean that the schools are falling down on the job.

A couple of the comments to the article suggest that the latter scenario is actually closer to the truth. Dieter HH, for example, points to "general grade inflation, dumbed down curriculum, 'everybody passes' psychobabble', adding that "the expansion in tutoring is merely a metric that reflects the concerns of parents about the deficiencies in our education system". Thrym interestingly writes "I believe that the growth of tutoring use is artificially propping up the performance of the school system on standardized testing scores. When one-third of all students are educated in subjects such as mathematics and reading comprehension outside the regular school system, often at great expense in time and money by frustrated parents, what does this say about what goes on during the regular school day?  (more...)

Harper Panders to Feminazis to Pre-empt the Shiny Pony

OTTAWA -- The federal government is aiming to increase the number of women on corporate boards across Canada by requiring companies to either put a gender diversity policy in place -- or explain publicly why they don't have one.

The Harper government's latest budget included proposed changes to the Canada Business Corporations Act requiring all companies listed on Canadian stock exchanges to abide by the "comply-or-explain" disclosure model.

Proposed changes are also in the works to get more women on the boards of other non publicly-traded companies, and to ensure corporate board elections and communications are also brought up to date.  (more...)

Labour peer Lord Janner could still face civil action over child sex abuse claims

Lord Greville Janner - the Labour peer accused of molesting young boys in the 1970s and 1980s - could be tested by experts to prove he has dementia as part of civil claims brought by his alleged victims, a lawyer has said.

The family of the 86-year-old politician has been told he will not face child abuse charges because of his memory problems, but he could still face civil action from complainants.

Legal firm Slater & Gordon are representing several people looking to take private action against Lord Janner, with police having identified 25 people who say the Labour peer attacked them. Each could claim up to £100,000.

Lord Janner has been accused of preying on young boys at three Leicester care homes between 1969 and 1989, with prosecutors arguing there is 'overwhelming' cause to charge the former MP with 22 sex attacks on nine victims - the youngest aged just 10 at the time.  (more...)

The Mighty Wurlitzer on Maximum as Sex-ed Ideologues Panic

Ontario educators are scrambling to combat confusion and false information among critics of the province’s new sex-education curriculum — including claims it offers how-to lessons on masturbation, homosexuality and anal sex.

The move comes as thousands of parents across the province plan to keep their kids home from school the week of May 4 to protest the new curriculum.

So many parents in Peel Region have expressed concerns over the curriculum, the school board fears hundreds of parents in their region alone — as many as 200 to 300 in some neighbourhoods — will ask that their children be exempt from sex-education classes next fall, warned Janet McDougald, chair of the Peel District School Board.

“A small fraction are intentionally misleading people (about the curriculum),” she said, “but the vast majority are confused and upset about what they’re reading and we need the (education) minister to work more aggressively at providing parents the answers they need to feel comfortable about it going forward.”  (more...)

Letters: Ending two-tiered education system

Re: Toronto has a two-tiered education system, Opinion April 19

Sachin Maharaj proposes a solution to two-tiered education that will only exacerbate the inequality in our school system. School boundaries are already open to parents unwilling to send their progeny to “bad” neighbourhood schools, namely ones with kids from a lower socioeconomic status or different racial background.

Students wanting to escape boundaries can already do so for French immersion, the arts, international baccalaureate or other specialized programs, which are usually found in neighbourhoods with more expensive housing.

At the end of the day, if the public system isn’t good enough for little Johnny, wealthy parents can send him to any number of exclusive private schools, like Upper Canada College and Branksome Hall where the funding is triple that of public education.  (more...)

Woman pretended to be boy and convinced girls to send nudes

LONDON, Ont. -- A 24-year-old woman who posed as a teenage boy online pleaded guilty Wednesday to nine charges after luring three teenage girls into sending dirty selfies.

The woman's offences started when she was 17, so she can't be identified.

Court heard the woman set out to exploit other girls, not for sex, but for her own self-esteem.

It's rare enough to have a woman, not a man, facing child porn charges, but this case was so unique, the Crown and the defence couldn't offer Justice Eleanor Schnall any cases for comparison.  (more...)

Figure skating coach 'preyed upon me'

Kevin Hicks
TORONTO - Brian Jessup’s dream to become the next figure skating great was transformed into an endless nightmare by his sexually deviant coach Kevin Hicks.

At Friday’s sentencing hearing of his tormentor, Jessup lifted the publication ban on his identity as one of two sexual abuse victims — both figure skaters — exploited by Hicks in the 1980s.

Jessup’s nightmare was so all-consuming that he plotted the ultimate revenge against Hicks in the fall of 2008, he told the court.

“I actually sunk so low in life I meticulously planned your murder. Not something I’m proud to admit and one more thing I must live with,” Jessup said in reading his victim impact statement.  (more...)

The Dirt Book: How the sexual abuse of children is used for political gain

Ted Heath brought "new professionalism"
to the job of chief whip
In 1995, the BBC showed a Michael Cockerell documentary called Westminster’s Secret Service about the role of the chief whip, whose task it is to ensure MPs attend important debates and vote as the party leadership desires. It was revealed that the chief whip kept a little black ‘dirt book’ which contained information about MPs, and this was used as a method of political control.

Tim Fortescue, who was one of Ted Heath’s whips from 1970-73, said:
For anyone with any sense, who was in trouble, would come to the whips and tell them the truth, and say now, I’m in a jam, can you help? It might be debt, it might be…..erm……erm, a scandal involving small boys, or any kind of scandal in which, erm er, a member seemed likely to be mixed up in, they’d come and ask if we could help and if we could, we did. And we would do everything we can because we would store up brownie points……., and if I mean, that sounds a pretty, pretty nasty reason, but it’s one of the reasons because if we could get a chap out of trouble then, he will do as we ask forever more.
In short, the chief whip would cover up any scandal, even if it involved “small boys”, child sexual abuse, child rape, whatever you want to call it. They wouldn’t report the crime to the police, although they may use their contacts with the police to make sure to make sure the matter went no further. This means that a paedophile would be the ideal candidate for promotion within the party, easily blackmailed and bought, loyalty and discretion guaranteed.  (more...)

Lord Janner: DPP faces fresh doubts about medical evidence

Beleaguered Alison Saunders
Director of public prosecutions Alison Saunders faces more concerns about the medical evidence that underpins her decision not to prosecute Labour peer Lord Janner.

Exaro can reveal that the six “key findings” of the medical evidence, as summarised by the DPP in her statement just earlier this month, were not all agreed by the four experts who gave assessments for the case.  (more...)

A Warning from Canada: Same-Sex Marriage Erodes Fundamental Rights

I am one of six adult children of gay parents who recently filed amicus briefs with the US Supreme Court, asking the Court to respect the authority of citizens to keep the original definition of marriage: a union between one man and one woman to the exclusion of all others, so that children may know and may be raised by their biological parents. I also live in Canada, where same-sex marriage was federally mandated in 2005.

I am the daughter of a gay father who died of AIDS. I described my experiences in my book: Out From Under: The Impact of Homosexual Parenting. Over fifty adult children who were raised by LGBT parents have communicated with me and share my concerns about same-sex marriage and parenting. Many of us struggle with our own sexuality and sense of gender because of the influences in our household environments growing up.

We have great compassion for people who struggle with their sexuality and gender identity—not animosity. And we love our parents. Yet, when we go public with our stories, we often face ostracism, silencing, and threats.

I want to warn America to expect severe erosion of First Amendment freedoms if the US Supreme Court mandates same-sex marriage. The consequences have played out in Canada for ten years now, and they are truly Orwellian in nature and scope.  (more...)

The rape of justice: Damning new evidence of Labour peer Lord Janner's child sex abuse

Lord Janner pictured with the Queen in 2003 at a reception to mark the 21st anniversary
of the Commonwealth Jewish Council
The most damning evidence yet of how the Establishment hid Lord Janner's alleged child abuse can be revealed today.

Police and social workers were told more than 20 years ago that the peer took a vulnerable boy to Labour Party offices and Parliament before molesting him in his marital bed.

A ten-page witness statement details the alleged victim's harrowing ordeal at the hands of Janner. But all references to the politician were removed from the child's social services file, according to legal papers obtained by the Mail.

A children's home manager told bosses she feared he was having sex with the child but her concerns were 'swept under the carpet'.

The scale of the cover-up helps explains how the former Labour MP repeatedly escaped justice.  (more...)

Kincora: Memories for abuse victims will never go away

Former Kincora resident Richard Kerr
Peter Robinson is right to demand the demolition of Ulster's oldest house of horrors before it is burnt to the ground by disgruntled former inmates.

There is no doubt that most other politicians, most former residents and even the police who investigated are likely to agree.

Kincora, on the Upper Newtownards Road, is synonymous with child abuse and it is so distinctive looking that the building can never be rehabilitated.

Visiting the premises with former residents is something else. I went there with Richard Kerr who was visibly shaken as horrific memories flooded back. Clint Massey recalled how even years later travelling past in an armoured car as a soldier it made the hairs stand on the back of his neck as he approached it.  (more...)
