B.C. school apologizes after ‘vulgar’ and ‘excessively graphic’ sex ed cards handed out


A Chilliwack, B.C., school has apologized for giving Grade 8 and 9 students “inappropriate” sex education material that described graphic sex acts and used sexual slang words.

Principal Chuck Lawson said a deck of sex cards was accidentally given to 15 students at C.H.A.N.C.E. Alternate School last Thursday following a presentation by a guest speaker on healthy relationships.
